The European Learning Laboratory (ELLIE) is located on Millstreet Country Park Education Campus, a beautiful 270 hectare parkland estate at the foot of Musheramore Mountain in north county Cork. Discover the many amenities, enjoy the scenery, and the Park's environmental heritage in all its facets.
ELLIE organises a Primary School Science Programme under the auspices of Discover Primary Science (a Forfás initiative) which encourages children to explore, enquire, collect data, hypothesise and write scientific reports on aspects of wetland habitats which have been especially created and managed for the purpose of instruction and learning.
The Programme is hands-on, highly interactive, dynamic and utilises advanced technologies in creative ways, making science an engaging and interesting activity whilst providing children with lifelong skills and interest in the world around them.
