Millstreet Country Park's Five Day Wild Summer Camp is an excellent option, offering something different for children to enjoy during their summer holidays.

This year Millstreet Country Park has carefully put together a new camp with a selection of activities which address a broad range of needs and interests.

Millstreet Country Park's focus is the discovery of the wonders of nature, science, history and culture by having as much fun as we possibly can! Our aim is to provide children with a fun, creative, educational and enriching camp experience. The variety of activities is amazing with something to please all participants whether their interest is history, nature, science or simply just play.

A different theme every day!

Wildlife Adventures
An introduction to Millstreet Country Park's wild life and natural history. Your children won't just hear about the outdoors, they will go out into the world and participate in it.
Nestled at the foothills of the Musheramore Mountains,
Millstreet Country Park boasts an array of flora and fauna ranging from native red deer to foxes, otters and red squirrels and 150 species of native wild birds. Activities include safari wildlife adventure, wetland investigations and bug hunts whilst covering an array of subjects such as nature conservation, biodiversity and outdoor team building skills.

Explore Science
This day gives the camp goer the unique opportunity to perform exciting, informative, wacky experience.

Games Games Games
Today the camp goers will be let loose to play every kind of outdoor game we have at the park, and we have a lot! From our classic shuffleboards and duck races to our amazing new obstacle course we have it all!
These games are excellent for developing team building skills and are fun fun fun!

Super Project Day
This is where is all comes together. Science, nature,
history combine in this fun and rewarding day. Each camp goers will get the chance to conduct their favor- ite science experiment, make a conservation poster on their chosen animal or plant and make a diorama of one of our historic sites. All under the expert guidance of our on site Ecologist

This is a new 5 day summer camp where children experience wildlife activities which promote science, history and ecology. Each day has a different theme and this unique summer camp opens the camp goes eyes to the world around them through fun activities.
Mistreet Country Parks Discovery Camp also incorporates team building games and challenges providing participants with a well rounded enjoyable five day program! sampling and microscope studies, children will learn how science interacts with their daily lives and how amazing it all truly is!

A Historic Experience!
Children will be transported back through time during this days events. They will be introduced to how people lived in Medieval, Bronze age and Neolithic time with visits to archeological and historic sites; the stone circle, fulacht fiadh and crannog. Which are all right here in Millstreet Country Park! Camp goers will be introduced to the culture of ancient Ireland by being taught and taking part in traditional crafts and playing ancient games! Not to be missed!
